Welcome to the Family Pet Shelter Charity Fund. This project was set up by Japanese veterinarian volunteers. It is a network to provide medical support for the animals affected by the recent earthquake in eastern Japan.

Animals not only bring joy to families, but they are members of the family and the community. They comfort disaster survivors and help reduce tension and stress. Now, they need our help.

This project is an academic exchange, awareness program, and charity fund-raising activity. Our goal is to enhance the relationship between humans and animals during this time of crisis.

We need your help and are asking foreign countries to aid in fund-raising.

Family Pet Shelter Charity Fund

All donated proceeds will go towards animals that have been affected by the recent earthquake in eastern Japan.

With these financial contributions we will build shelters for animals for the families that have lost their homes. These shelters will enable families to visit their animals during their transition to permanent accommodation and provide medical supplies and treatment to sick or injured animals, free of charge.
